Preference P.R.O. was established by Dr. Sergei Varshavsky in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1991 to provide translation, cultural adaptation and validation of Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) measures and Quality of Life (QOL) instruments. Since 1999 the company has been headquartered in the United States of America with two locations – in San Francisco, CA and in Washington, DC.
